An Exciting Announcement!

Laura King, who has been teaching at the studio since 2009, is my business partner as of January 1st.

This is not a notice of impending retirement but a strategy for moving forward. As I approach my 70th birthday in April, I realized I needed a plan for the future of the studio. I have been tapering my instructional time over the last few years and now I will be able to taper my administrative duties as well.

Laura will eventually be the sole owner of the studio; that will probably happen in the next 5–10 years. I still have too much fun interacting with students and teachers to give that up.

I look forward to seeing everyone at lessons in January.
