Studio Recitals

Group studio recitals begin today. Students should arrive at their regularly scheduled lesson time to warm up with the class. Studio recitals will start 15 minutes after the normal lesson time. Families are encouraged to attend in-person, but Zoom invitations have also been emailed. We will have a brief reception following each recital.

The recital will be the last class before the holiday break. We will resume lessons the week of January 4th.

Private Student Recitals

Students in private lessons will have a recital at the Arts Center, December 15–17. Friends and family are encouraged to attend in person; the Arts Center will live stream for those unable to attend. We will have a reception following each recital.

Schedule Updates

During the holiday break, we will make some minor schedule adjustments. Some group students may be moved to different classes, to balance student numbers, adjust for difficulty, or resolve schedule conflicts. Private teachers may adjust their schedules as applicable. If you may be interested in changing classes, please email us.

Piano Tuning

As the weather turns colder, your piano may be affected by the change in humidity. Now is a good time to get your piano tuned. There are many good piano tuners in Lawrence; let us know if you would like a contact number.

Holiday Break

There are no lessons from Sunday, December 14th through Saturday, January 3. Lessons will resume Monday, January 5th.
